Guilds
Guilds are managed from the Guilds page of the website. Anyone can join a guild by invitation; founding one needs a Premium account.
Founding a guild
On Guilds, use Create a guild: pick one of your characters, write the name and press Create Guild. That character becomes the Leader.
- Premium account and a character of level 50 or higher.
- The character must be logged out and not already in a guild.
- Name: 3 to 30 characters, only letters, spaces and underscores, no double spaces, and not used by another guild.
Ranks
| Rank | Can do |
|---|---|
| Leader | Everything: invite, remove, change ranks, nicknames, message of the day, emblem, forum board, rename the rank titles, transfer leadership and disband the guild. |
| Vice-Leader | Invite players, set members to Member, remove Members, edit nicknames (not the leader's), message of the day, emblem and forum board. |
| Member | Belong to the guild and leave it whenever they want. |
The leader can rename the three rank titles (Rank titles); the rights stay the same.
Invitations and members
- Leader or Vice-Leader: open the guild page (logged in), Guild management › Invite a player, write the name and press Invite. Remove Invitation cancels it.
- The invited player opens the guild page on the website and presses Join Guild (or Reject Invitation). The character must be logged out to join.
- Change a member's rank, Remove a member and Member nickname work on characters that are logged out; you can only act on members ranked below you.
- To leave, use Leave guild on the guild page with the character logged out. A leader must first transfer the leadership (Transfer leadership, both characters logged out) or disband the guild (Disband guild, all members logged out; cannot be undone).
Guild page
Every guild has a public page with its emblem, Message of the day, member list (rank, nickname, level, vocation, online status) and total members, average level and guild level. Leaders can create a private Forum board for the guild in the forum.
Emblems
Leader or Vice-Leader: Guild emblem › Game emblems › choose one of the 57 emblems (19 shields and 38 famous items of the game) and press Save emblem. Each emblem belongs to one guild only: emblems already used by another guild are shown in grey and cannot be chosen (hover to see which guild has it). The emblem appears on the website and, in the game, next to the name of every member (on the map and in the battle list). Players see a new emblem the next time they log in.
Your own emblem (leader only): Guild emblem › Upload your own › Choose image… (PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 3 MB). Drag the picture and zoom to frame it, pick a shape (Shield, Round, Banner or No shape) and the number of colours; the editor turns it into a 32 × 32 emblem in the style of the classic shields (plain background removed, few colours, dark outline, metal rim) and shows it at website size, real size and battle-list size. Tick that the picture is yours and follows the Rules, then Save emblem: it is published at once.
Guild wars
Only the Leader declares and answers wars, from the guild page (Guild wars panel). Wars are public: every guild page lists its wars and Guild wars shows all of them with the score and every frag.
- Declare war: write the enemy guild, the frag limit (10 to 999) and the duration (no time limit, or 1, 3, 7, 14 or 30 days), then press Declare war. Cancel invitation withdraws it.
- Answer: the enemy leader sees the invitation on their guild page and presses Accept war or Reject. An invitation not answered in 72 hours expires.
- At war: the war starts in the game within a minute, with no need to log out. Members of both guilds see a red diamond next to their enemies and a green one next to their own guild; a yellow one marks a guild at war with someone else.
- Frags: the last hit by an enemy member is a frag for the killer's guild. Killing an enemy never gives a skull and never counts as an unjustified kill (it does not lead to red skull or to the 20-kill ban). Deaths are normal deaths. To attack an enemy, turn secure mode off.
- End: the first guild to reach the frag limit wins. With a duration, when time runs out the guild with more frags wins (or it is a draw). Either leader can press Surrender: the other guild wins. Disbanding a guild surrenders its wars. The result is announced to the whole world.
Guild features in the game
- Guild chat: a private Guild channel for the members.
- MRVOX voice: press Voice in the game menu. Every guild gets its own General voice channel (members only) and a Leaders channel (Vice-Leader and Leader). Leaders and Vice-Leaders can move and mute people in their guild channels.
- Guild poke: Leaders and Vice-Leaders can send a poke to every member connected to MRVOX, in any channel (once every 30 seconds).
- Guild cast: in the Cast window choose My guild to let your guild watch you play, 5 to 30 seconds behind (the map, and your interface if you choose; never the chat). Guild casts appear only to your guild.
