The Queen of the Banshees Quest

Carlin Level 60 Free

Seven seals guard the deepest chamber of the Ghostlands, under the Isle of Solitude north-west of Carlin. Six of them are puzzles and fights in the ancient complex; the seventh is the kiss of the Queen herself. Behind the last door: stone skin amulet, stealth ring, tower shield, giant sword, boots of haste and 100 platinum coins.

Requirements

Level 60 (the Queen refuses anyone below it)
A white pearl and a black pearl (seal 2)
A vial of blood (seal 4)
A rope, and a strong group: ghosts, demon skeletons, banshees and two warlocks per player

How to complete

Step 1
Reach the Ghostlands under the Isle of Solitude, north-west of Carlin. At the entrance, pull the lever that reveals the stairs down.

Seal of the hidden: somewhere in the complex a blue flame hides where nobody looks. Step into it. Two ghosts and a demon skeleton appear and the flame drops you into the seal area.

Step 3
Seal of the plague: put a white pearl on the left counter and a black pearl on the right one, then walk through the forcefield between them. Without the offering it throws you back onto the poison fields.

Step 4
Seal of demonrage: the two tiles at the entrance of the hall call two warlocks for each player, once. Defeat them, then pull the five levers on the eastern wall until the pattern of energy above them is complete, and step into the blue flame.

Seal of sacrifice: pour blood on the tile between the five tables and, while it is still wet, walk into the flame next to it.

Seal of the true path: only one route through the tiles is right; wrong tiles throw you back to the start, right ones flash green. Enter on the second row from the north and go east, south, east, south, diagonally south-east, diagonally north-east, north, and east into the flame.

Seal of logic: six levers stand by the campfires and stone circles. Pull the four levers of the western and middle columns to the right and leave the two eastern ones to the left, so that only the two eastern campfires burn. Then step into the flame south of them.

Seal of the Queen: talk to the Queen of the Banshees, ask about the seventh seal and answer yes for each seal you have passed. Then ask for her kiss and accept. She sends you out of the complex; the seventh seal is open.

Go back down to the sealed doors: they open for you now. In the treasure chamber open the six chests.

Tips

The two levers of the walls (one west, one east) open a shortcut through the complex for half an hour; pull the western one first.
Ask the Queen about her spectral dress after the kiss: she gives you a dress once.
If a flame sends you back, check the seal condition again: the pearls, the blood or the levers may have been used by somebody else.

The Hidden Seal
The Ghostlands lie under the Isle of Solitude, north-west of Carlin. Somewhere in the ancient complex a blue flame is hidden where nobody looks. Step into it.

When completed: You found the hidden seal and passed it.
The Seal of the Plague
The plague seal asks for an offering: a white pearl on the left counter and a black pearl on the right one. Then walk through the field.

When completed: You passed the seal of the plague.
The Seal of Demonrage
Two warlocks guard the seal of demonrage. Defeat them, pull the five levers until the pattern of energy is complete and step into the flame.

When completed: You passed the seal of demonrage.
The Seal of Sacrifice
The seal of sacrifice wants blood. Pour blood on the tile between the five tables and walk into the flame while it is still wet.

When completed: You passed the seal of sacrifice.
The True Path and the Seal of Logic
Only one path through the tiles of the fifth seal is the true one; the wrong ones throw you back. Beyond it, the seal of logic is solved with the six levers of the campfires and stone circles.

When completed: You passed the seal of the true path and the seal of logic.
The Kiss of the Queen
With the six seals behind you, ask the Queen of the Banshees about the seventh seal. She only kisses those of level 60 and above who can answer for every seal.

When completed: The Queen of the Banshees gave you her kiss: the seventh seal is open.
The Chamber behind the Seventh Seal
Seven seals guard the deepest chamber of the Ghostlands, under the Isle of Solitude. Pass the six seals of the ancient complex, earn the kiss of the Queen of the Banshee (level 60) and open the six chests behind the last door.
