Barbarian Outfits Quest

Requirements

• Premium account (the outfit itself and, as in the original game, its addons)
• 2 royal helmets and 4 warrior helmets: Haroun (Marid) or Yaman (Efreet) extract a spirit container of fighting spirit and a flask of warrior's sweat from them ('fighting spirit', 'sweat'); you must be a friend of that djinn faction (The Djinn War Quest)
• 50 red pieces of cloth (heroes) and 50 green pieces of cloth (green djinns, efreets)
• 100 spider silk (giant spiders): Marina spins one spool of yarn from 10 silk once you brought her 50 honeycombs (bears, wasps)
• For the axe: 100 iron ore (dwarves), a huge chunk of crude iron (A Sweaty Cyclops in Edron trades it for a giant sword), 50 perfect behemoth fangs (behemoths) and 50 lizard leather (lizards)
• One real hour of patience with Ajax and two more for the axe

How to complete

1. Step 1

   Bron lives in a hut in the fields east of Northport. Ask him about 'violence' and accept twice ('yes', 'yes'): he wants you to teach his brother that words beat fists.

   

2. Step 2

   Ajax has his camp west of Northport. Say 'mine', answer 'no' three times, then tell him to 'say please' and confirm with 'yes': he sets you on fire and throws you out. Do not talk to him for one real hour (talking earlier restarts the hour).

   

3. Step 3

   After the hour, say 'mine' to Ajax again: he admits that 'fist not always good'. Tell Bron exactly that ('fist not always good'), then ask about the 'person' and accept ('yes').

4. Step 4

   Ask Ajax about 'gelagos' and about 'fighting spirit': Bron needs magic fighting spirit from a djinn.

5. Step 5

   Bring 2 royal helmets to Haroun in Ashta'daramai or Yaman in Mal'ouquah and ask for 'fighting spirit' ('yes'): a spirit container.

   

6. Step 6

   Give it to Bron ('fighting spirit'). He rages, then asks for one last favour ('yes', 'yes', 'yes'): a shirt for Ajax.

7. Step 7

   Marina, the mermaid on the north-eastern shore of the island south of Thais, spins yarn: ask her about 'yarn', flatter her ('yes', 'yes'), bring her 50 honeycombs ('honey', 'yes') and from then on 10 spider silk make one 'spool of yarn' ('yes').

8. Step 8

   Bring Bron 50 red and 50 green pieces of cloth ('cloth', 'yes'), then 10 spools of yarn ('silk', 'yes'), then a flask of warrior's sweat ('sweat', 'yes'; 4 warrior helmets at the djinns) and accept his present ('yes'): the barbarian wig.

9. Step 9

   Ajax wants to return the favour: ask about the 'present' ('yes', 'yes') and bring him 100 iron ore ('ore', 'yes'), the huge chunk of crude iron ('iron', 'yes'), 50 perfect behemoth fangs ('fang', 'yes') and 50 lizard leather ('leather', 'yes').

10. Step 10

    Two real hours later ask Ajax for the 'axe': the barbarian axe.

• the barbarian wig, second addon of the Barbarian outfit
• the barbarian axe, first addon of the Barbarian outfit

Tips

• The outfit itself needs no quest: every Premium character can wear the Barbarian outfit.
• Ajax's fire hurts: bring healing and do not try it at low level.
• Collect everything before you start; Bron and Ajax only take the items in the order above.
